Visy Fibre Packaging is a major business. There is substantial growth and constant innovation across its multiple sites in Australia and New Zealand. A vacancy has arisen for a strong and well qualified person to join the business as a Technical Solutions Engineer.
Based in Brisbane's South East, you will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the business. Reporting to the National Technical Manager, you will have key relationships at each of the sites and within customer organisations. You must be able to establish good connections with factory staff. There is considerable travel required.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent and proven customer and stakeholder engagement skills, and
- Very strong analytical skills.
You will also have:
- Strong technical understanding and excellent problem solving skills
- Be able to be both strategic and 'hands on' - to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong project management skills, and
- Tertiary Engineering Qualifications - Mechanical or Process preferred.
