The Company
Our client is a US service organisation that manufactures electronics test and measurement equipment and software. Their office is located in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs.
About the role
Currently they have a long-term contract position (with likelihood for ongoing work and potentially permanency) for a Delivery Admin / Store Person. The primary function of the role is to provide support for Repair and Calibration Services in an efficient and timely manner to add value to the products purchased by their customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Logging – receipting all goods
- Shipping – processing outward goods
- Perform Calibration Close
- Process Trans-Shipments
- Process outsourced 3rd party services
- Collating, organizing and storage of documentation
- Packing / unpacking of products
- Delivery of products and receipt of products from the Repair and Calibration teams in a timely efficient manner.
- Work with the Customer Care Centre team to ensure systems accuracy and the customer is kept informed of all delays.

Skills & Experience
- Computer literate
- Introductory knowledge/ability to work with MS web/database/spreadsheet applications
- Fork lift license -not essential
- Knowledge of warehouse processes, safety requirements/certificates and etiquette
- Professional customer telephone manner
- Good communication skills
