Our International Mining manufacturing client is currently experiencing major growth at the moment and are employing now on two sites. Our client is well known in their respective industry, and have the track record of looking after their casual staff by providing a safe and enjoyable working environment.
These opportunities are offering casual 38 hours + per week , for Engineering Production Workers with forklift licenses both in Eagle Farm and Carole Park areas. Reliability is the key attribute that will have you working consistent hours for a good rate of pay.
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Your own reliable transport (no public transport available at these sites)
- FORKLIFT LICENSE - Current (a must)
- Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills,
- The ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings
- The ability to start as early as 4am in summer and work in extreme heat at times
- A background working in production in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- To be mechanically minded and be confident using hand and power tools
- The ability to perform manual handling tasks
- The ability to pass Pre Employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
- A Dogman and gantry crane license would be an advantage. (Carole Park)
