About the Role
As the WHS Manager you will be accountable for the ongoing implementation of our Work Health & Safety management systems and processes that comply with WHS legislation.
Your Key Priorities
- Managing the review & implementation of the WHSE Management System, including the WHS policy, procedures review and update.
- Ensuring adequate training, supervision and monitoring of all safety responsibilities.
- Encouraging a commitment to safety in all work conducted across the business.
- Completing Safety Reporting to achieve set objectives, targets & KPI's and to meet organisational and legislative requirements.
- Coordinating employee health assessments: pre-employment screening, audiometric & vision testing, drug and alcohol testing.
- Coordinating the Return to Work program by maintaining working relationships with the injured worker and external medical and insurance professionals to ensure adherence to relevant guidelines.
- Carrying out risk assessment on site and co-ordinating WHS committee meetings.
About You
To qualify for the position of WHS Manager you will have
- Manufacturing Industry experience
- Occupational Health & Safety qualifications
- Strong stakeholder engagement & influencing skills.
- Experience in implementing Behavioural Safety programs.
