Subcontracts Specialist

• Circa $100K + super
• Newly created permanent role
• Brisbane CBD location

Working for a Fortune 500 listed company, this newly created Subcontracts Specialist role will see you being an integral part of the project to deliver the first major upgrade of the RAAF fleet of Wedgetail Aircraft in three releases over six years. You will be responsible for all activities relating to the contract management of a contract portfolio of up to $1BN, which will include coordination and management of supplier relationships, drafting and review of complex contracts, contract and supplier strategy development, negotiation of contractual changes and variations, development and execution of negotiated contractual and binding documents and agreements. You will be a proactive business partner with technical operational stakeholders and to drive best value and contractual outcomes for the business.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Minimum 5+ years of post-award Contract/Subcontract Management experience of a comparable portfolio size or complex contract management
• Tertiary Education (Bachelors equivalent) in Commerce, Law or Business
• Well-developed skills and capability in drafting complex contracts and interpretation of legal jargon, coupled with contractual negotiation and supplier management
• High level competency in written and oral communication and standard business tools and systems (Word, Excel, Project, Oracle/SAP)
