About the business and the role
Cut Fresh Salads is a vibrant and fast paced company supplying ready to eat salads and vegetable lines to the fast food industry.
We are looking for a warehouse operative to join our small team to assist in the day to day operations of the warehouse ensuring correct receipt, storage, distribution and accurate control of all goods.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The Job;
- Working in a chilled environment (1-8 degrees)
- Forklift Operations
- Picking and packing of orders
- Dispatch of goods
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Cleaning and maintenance of warehouse
- Performing stock takes, and rotation of stock
- Early morning shifts (between midnight to 9am )
- Job involves working 5 mornings between Monday-Saturday.
Skills and experience
Essential criteria;
- Car and licence (no public transport access)
- Current forklift licence.
- Previous warehouse experience - goods in/out, distribution and manual handling
- Ability to work in a chilled environment
- Experience in warehousing
- Medically fit with ability to lift and handle products
- High level of English, spoken and written.
- Exceptional organisation skills and able to work under pressure
- Ideally had experience working night shift hours.
