We are currently looking to engage a Production Manager as a result of an internal promotion.
About the role:
- Manage, plan and co-ordinate a 24/5 (x3 shift operation).
- Demonstrate passionate leadership and strong management
- Achieve a zero harm environment
- Maintain process control to underpin a DIFOT of 98% - each day
- Co-ordinate production process and capacity planning to achieve short lead times
- Control process for quality & comply with our accredited quality standards
- Create a continuous improvement culture, engaging the team with a collective sense of purpose
- Control waste and introduce initiatives to reduce waste
- Improve the depth and capability of people across the operation
- Engage and guide an evolving culture to be the “best in the competition”.
About you:
- Tertiary qualified in manufacturing (preferred) or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in a made to order, short lead time environment
- Ability to work effectively at all levels in the business with strong engagement and influencing skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach mentor and drive change
- Highly organised and driven to achieve results
- Flexible approach to work with availability for some out of hours work when required.
