The Opportunity

You will be working in a friendly and supportive team environment where your skills and experience are appreciated. You will be operating a Heavy Vehicle from our Kooragang Island depot and will be dedicated to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.


About You

Energetic and reliable individuals who are looking to develop their career will be suited to this role. In order to be considered you will possess the following;

  • Current unrestricted MC Licence (desirable)
  • Truck and dog experience will be a benefit
  • Container and port experience (preferred)
  • Excellent driving history
  • Tipper experience (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain external customer relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to personally manage customers requirements to achieve the goals of the customer and the employer (desirable)
  • Strict adherence to compliance standards set by HVNL
  • Ability to manage driving hours in accordance to BFM
  • Willingness to acquire other driving skills e.g. truck and dog, sideloader, containers
  • High consideration for your own safety and the health and safety of others
  • Flexibility to respond to business needs at short notice

You will deliver a high level of customer service and will bring a positive approach to our business.

You will also be required to successfully complete an in-cab driving assessment and a pre-employment medical.
