Our client is an Australian grown business who supply their quality products nationally and internationally. Supplying to 38 countries and 5000 locations nationally, our client has a huge footprint in the FMCG space. They are looking for import/export coordinators to join the company.
Description
As an integral part of the Supply Chain and Logistics team, you will be responsible for monitoring the flow of good. Supporting your manager you will also ensure WH&S policies and procedure are followed. Specifically you will;
- Ensure all import and export documentation is correct and provided to appropriate parties
- Tracking and monitoring freight shipments
- Negotiation with freight companies, couriers and transport
- Managing sea freight and air freight processes
- Ensuring customers and supplier are updated with shipment and delivery
Profile
You will be a highly motivated and driven Supply Chain and Logistic professional with previous experience in Import/Export with an FMCG environment. Additionally, you will possess:
- 1-2 years experience in a proven FMCG company
- proven experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding in Import and Export documentation
- Experience using MS Office and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
