Job description:
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial team in ANL Melbourne. Reporting directly to the Marketing Team Lead, the main responsibility of the Commercial Analyst will be:
• To ensure the timely preparation/completion of Commercial and Marketing Reports, Management Reports and Statistical Analysis in accordance with Departmental requirements and deadlines.
• Work collaboratively within the Marketing department and across the organisation to promote communication and information sharing.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and attributes-
• Australian citizenship or permanent residence.
• Tertiary qualifications in a business discipline.
• 3 years' experience within the shipping industry.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform statistical analysis.
• Highly developed computer and spreadsheet skills including a high level of numeracy.
• An understanding of both ‘macro’ and ‘micro’ business fundamentals.
• Very high level of organisation, presentation and communication skills with the ability to interact with highest levels of management.
• Results-oriented and deadline driven with the ability to think logically and strategically..
