As our next Trailer Driver, you will require excellent customer service skills, experience working in a multi-drop driving role and hold a great driving record. This position requires you to work in a regulated workplace that prides itself on meeting strict deadlines in a schedule driven environment. Part of the key to your success is your experience in building relationships with colleagues and customers as you will be on the road most of the day.
The successful applicant will be responsible to provide superior customer service through timely delivery of trailers to and from major customers with some requirement to provide PUD driving work.
Requirements:
- Ensure that freight is loaded, scanned and consolidated in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Freight Book-in requirements
- AM & PM Freight Handling
- Loading and unloading trailers
- PUD work when required
- Adhere to COR and safe work practices at all times
- Ensure Company equipment and facilities are correctly maintained
What you’ll need:
- Applicants must possess a current HC Licence
- Previous experience in driving a vehicle of this capacity
- Possess initiative and a strong work ethic
- Proven attendance and reliability
- Professional presentation in accordance with company dress standards
- Sound knowledge of company operational policies and procedures
- Ability to make a positive contribution within a team environment
