Details of the role:
Our client carries out refurbishment type work for institutions such as Hotels, Hospitals and Government organisations. The work involves collecting containerised flat pack furniture, appliances and other smaller items from the Seven Hills Warehouse and then delivering it to various locations in the greater Sydney region, where their crews will unpack, assemble and set up the items as part of enormous periodic refurbishment projects.

As a driver, your role will be to:

1. Carry out relevant driving duties in a responsible, safe and reliable manner
2. To assist with the monitoring of loading and unloading activity so as to ensure that the correct items and quantities are collected and delivered
3. Assist crews as much as reasonably practical with loading and unloading activity

Details of the opportunity:

• MR /HR Licensed Drivers
• Hourly Rates from $27.36 - $45.97
• Ongoing work
• Very good company
• Hours of Work are typically day shift (can start anywhere between 4am & 10am) and will usually continue for 8 to 10 hours
• Days of work are usually Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays and on the rare occasion Sundays /Public Holidays

The following criteria applies:

• Minimum MR class drivers licence
• Preferably have minimum 2 years plus driving experience
• Have appropriate work gear such as Steel-cap Boots / High-Vis Shirt /Black pants
• Be in reasonable physical condition as some manual handling will be required at times
• A proven employment history of reliability and punctuality
