Drive Operational Excellence and develop, implement and lead projects aimed at improving safety, cost, productivity, efficiency and service across DC Operations & the broader Supply Chain.
We understand the importance of the right hire and need your ability to identify opportunities that will drive operational excellence and lead the delivery the supply chain strategy.
About the role and what a normal day involves
- Identify, prioritise and develop an annual improvement plan across planning and operations
- Re-engineer business processes towards a LEAN structure that is consistent across the network and add value to the business
- Provide recommendations and measure supply chain performance
- Operations Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Develop & lead LEAN programs across the DC Operations Team
- Train & develop Operations Team members in ‘Best in Class’ practices
- Define target service standards for the operation and identifies improvements to deliver to customer & business partner standards
- Lead internal change management processes to support supply chain operations objectives
You will bring
- Equivalent experience in a Continuous Improvement / LEAN project management role
- Experience and working knowledge of DC Operations and Strategic Planning
- Stakeholder and relationship management
- Demonstrated experience in project and change management
- Strong leadership, development and coaching ability
