We seek an enthusiastic person to join our team on the Sunshine Coast. The successful applicant will be responsible for the design of our diverse range and the ongoing development of our existing range. The role will require liaising with our Engineers, production staff, sales office and General Manager.
Essential attributes:
- A sound understanding of engineering principles and the ability to convert these into detailed designs and manufacturing drawings
- Proven competence in AutoCAD drafting, in a commercial environment
- Have at least 5 years’ current experience in Mechanical Design and Drafting
- Strong mechanical competence and proven practical ability
- Have a solid understanding of Australian Standards applicable to each job
- Self motivated, with planning and organisational skills
Desirable attributes:
- Experience in the drafting in the water or similar industries
- Piping layouts, walkways, stairs, ladders etc.
- Tank design
