We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with solid experience in Customer Service to join our export team. In this role, you will gain industry knowledge and international experience, while improving your communication skills and techniques. This will equip you with the competencies required for customer-facing roles, develop your potential and career opportunities, as well as contribute to you team's and organisation's success.

This role reports directly into the Export CARE Manager for Export CARE team in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong and lasting relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Take full responsibility for the end-to-end ownership of customer shipments and issues.
  • Engage in constructive problem resolution and provide solutions.
  • Act and communicate proactively, keeping customers informed of any issues or changes in their booking.
  • Address root causes and seek continuous improvements in our processes.
  • Work with local and offshore teams, sharing knowledge and best practice.
  • Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to a portfolio of export customers.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree graduate, an advantage
  • Minimum of 2 years' customer service experience in various industries such as shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, hospitality, and retail.
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role, preferably one that involved any form of technical thinking.
  • Can handle pressure and high volume of customers.
  • Personable, energetic and excellent communication skills.
  • Someone who is an excellent team player and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Should have the ability to converse with people of all levels and is well organised, efficient and effective.
  • Must be eligible to work on a permanent basis in Australia.
