Toll People are currently experiencing a high demand for Fleet Controllers, Allocators and Transport Supervisors.
The available positions cover a variety of shifts for both the Toll Group and our external Customers around the Perth metro area. We are interested in candidates that are looking for both short-term casual work and their next career move in Transport.
The primary objective of the roles are to direct, co-ordinate and supervise a fleet to ensure all safety and service objectives are achieved.
You will be responsible for
- Promoting a safe and positive work environment that aligns with management objectives
- Coordinating and supervising a fleet of company and subcontractor vehicles
- Ensuring key service objectives and KPI’s are met
- Utilise assets in a cost effective manner
- Manage customer relations
- Ensuring all legislative requirements are met
Sectors including:
- Wharf Cartage
- Grocery Distribution
- Courier Services
- Fuel Transport
- Local PUD
To be successful in this role you will have
- A proven track record in the Transport and Distribution/Logistics industry
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S, Chain of Responsibility legislative and regulatory requirements
- Excellent Communication (verbal, written, listening) skills
- High level of literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload
- A proven track record in meeting customer expectations
