PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Since our inception in late 2007, Glassworks Aust Pty Ltd have experienced continued growth in both our client base and product range.
Due to this growth we are now looking for a Production Supervisor, to join our dynamic team based in Dandenong.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, your duties will include:
- Organize, co-ordinate and control daily workflow to ensure agreed targets are met
- Liaise with internal sales teams
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards
- Maintain and promote continuous improvement in all aspects of the production environment
- Ensure the most effective use of direct and indirect labour resources
- Manage the production process such that all forms of waste (labour inefficiency, material yield, scrap, rework and repair, machine downtime etc) are minimized or eliminated.
You will need to have well developed communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Previous experience in Glass Manufacturing industry preferred but not essential.
