As Import CARE Agent, you are responsible to develop and maintain strong interpersonal customer relationships to ensure that the best quality customer service is provided to the customers at all times. In this role, you will gain industry knowledge, international experience, better communication skills and techniques relevant to customer service. This will equip you with the competencies required for customer-facing roles, deepen your potential and career development as well as contribute to you team's and organisation's success.

This role reports directly into the Import Team Manager in Sydney, Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong and lasting relationships with customers and provide second-to-none customer service.
  • Take full responsibilities and end-to-end ownership of customer shipments and issues.
  • Engage in constructive problem resolution and provide solutions.
  • Act and communicate proactively and keep customers informed of any issues or changes in the booking.
  • Address root causes and seek continuous improvements – constantly look for ways to improve work processes.
  • Work independently and assist the team in realizing goals and standards – share knowledge and best practices.

Who we are looking for

  • Minimum education requirement is a graduate of secondary/ high school. Bachelor's degree holders are also encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in customer service in the shipping, logistics, freight forwarding (to handle freight forwarding account) industry would have an advantage. Open to other industries.
  • You should be proficient in MS Office and computer applications and be able to learn and adapt quickly with process and system.
  • You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, you should be a team player, proactive, customer focus, have strong skills on problem solving and very keen on details.
  • Must be eligible to work on a permanent basis in Australia.
