Our Client
Our client, a leading global manufacturing company, specialises in the sales and distribution of a wide range of locally manufactured residential and commercial building products, working directly with small to medium builders across New South Wales. Due to an internal redeployment, they are looking for an experienced Production Manager to run their residential manufacturing facility.

You're Responsibilities
Based at their Northern Sydney manufacturing facility and reporting to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for:
- Managing and coordinating manufacturing shifts between 06:00am and 3:00pm, 5 days.
- Leading the improvement process, increasing productivity and reducing costs in line with KPI's.
- Designing the manufacturing floor planning and layout for improved efficiency and future capital investment.
- Continued implementation of LEAN manufacturing systems, processes and procedures.
- Inventory planning, logistical requirements and control.

Demonstrated production experience in a fast paced, people intensive manufacturing environment.

A solid understanding of LEAN manufacturing, systems, processes and procedures.

Strong human resource management and interpersonal skills that will foster a team spirit within the division.

Well developed planning, organizing, communication and time management skills.

A positive and enthusiastic "can do" attitude that is underpinned by a "role up the sleeves" management style.
