About Slumberworld
Slumberworld is a family owned and operated business that has been manufacturing mattresses in Geelong for nearly 20 years. We are a small, happy and dedicated team that pride ourselves on providing top quality products with exemplary customer service. Both our retail showroom and mattress factory are located on the Torquay road in Grovedale.
The Role
A factory hand position that includes undertaking deliveries and manufacturing mattresses has opened up for in our Factory. We are looking for a friendly, honest and hard-working individual that enjoys working in a team.
Duties of this position will include:
- Mattress Construction;
- Fabric Cutting;
- Delivering and setting up bedroom furniture and mattresses in customers homes;
- Friendly customer service;
- Loading and Unloading of Trucks;
- General furniture lifting and moving;
- Some Saturday work.
Experience in the workforce is always looked upon favourably, however, this will not necessarily be relevant as long as the candidate has a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and take direction.
Applicants must have a current drivers licence, and be willing to undergo a standard Police Check.
