We are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to support our client, a well-known manufacturer located in the South-Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a company that provides a clean, safe and friendly workplace.
In this position, you will be expected to perform a range of duties from stock picking/packing, quality control, receiving, despatch and operating a High Reach Forklift. The working hours will be Mon - Fri, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. To be successful in this role you will be required to possess a current Forklift Licence with Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Experience.
You will also be required to demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience and strong background in Stores and Manufacturing work (including Despatch, Receiving and Pick/Packing)
- Previous experience driving a High Reach / Counterbalance Forklift
- Must be available and willing to work 38 hours per week and overtime if required
- Previous experience labouring in a manufacturing environment
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and personal presentation
- A current driver’s licence with your own reliable transport
