Great opportunity to join a successful Plastic Moulding company from interstate that is opening an operation in Vic. Based in the south eastern suburbs, this well-established company now is opening in Melbourne and they need a manager / operator to setup and run the facility.
Reporting to the Vic GM your role will involve various tasks. It is necessary to be flexible in this role. They need someone that can assist in organising the installation of new machines and assist in the operation and finding staff.
Unusual role as your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) organising installation of Plastic Injection Moulding Machines and ideally assist at the beginning to operate and set machines. You may also get involved in Die Setting, Machines Setting, inspect parts and other duties. However eventually your role will be managing the new plant at a shop level.
Great opportunity to join a new site and make your mark. Ideally you will need to be ok at getting your hands dirty and being hands on.
TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Trade or Engineering qualifications.
- Plastic Injection Moulding experience.
- Excellent people skills.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
- Plastics background ideal
- Management or supervisory skills
- Machine installation experience would be ideal.
