About the Role
As a warehouse administrator based in the Nothern Suburbs you will be an integral part of a dynamic team that delivers and prides itself on output and exceptional customer service. As the person responsible for the efficient running of the administrative aspects of running the warehouse you will enjoy a multi-faceted role and display the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Liaise with transport providers and customers re/bookings, delivery and despatch
- Receipt all incoming goods and handle appropriate documentation and tracking
- Processing of orders
- Picking. packing, preparing and dispatching orders efficiently and accurately
- Raising of purchase orders, purchase requisitions and receipting
- Process stock adjustments
- Ad hoc administration duties as required including filing, printing and generating slips
- Maintaining housekeeping and safety standards within the warehouse
- Demonstrated warehouse operations, distribution and/or manufacturing experience
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Committed and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and customer focused
- Willingness to learn with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise
- Excellent numeracy and computer skills including experience with online courier despatch systems
- Forklift Licence beneficial
- Victorian drivers licence
- Knowledge of piping and fittings would be an advantage, but not essential
- Willingness to work on the warehouse floor when required
