About the company

About the role
Under direction from a steering committee, you will be involved in new warehouse design, interior fit-out, stock move management, negotiating new materials handling equipment, , IT and infrastructure management, working to a time-line and managing project budget. The warehouse location and initial designs have begun, you are the key and next step to run with your previous experience in warehouse relocation.
Duties
- Warehouse design
- Interior fit-out
- Stock movement management & transition
- New materials handling equipment
- Dealing with revivalists
- IT and infrastructure management
- Managing project budget
- Racking & pick line set up
- Engaging architects
- Attend fortnightly building meetings
- Map current warehouse/SKU sizes
- Help create/implement new ERP/WMS
Skills & experience
- Proven negation skills and experience
- Ability to work autonomously, while being led by steering committee
- Experience in relocating warehouses
- Stock management/transition exposure
- System implementation background
- Wholesale distribution experience desirable
- Ability to work at least a 12 month contract (could go up to 18 months)
