Established in 1969, the business has grown to be one of Australia's largest privately owned meat operations. The company operates three processing sites including a pork de-boning facility, a case ready facility and an abattoir. This is an exciting position for a motivated and reliable person to join a fast paced environment, and work with a strong team.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Group Warehouse & Distribution Manager, this role will see you responsible for, but not limited to:

• Conducting stocktakes and reconciling physical counts against system records and report on all stock discrepancies
• Maintaining and improving inventory accuracy
• Proactively managing all inventory related issues
• Stock analysis and reporting on a weekly basis
• Conducting root cause analysis on variances in order to identify and implement corrective actions where relevant
• Overseeing and controlling the operation associated to CHEP materials
• Receiving and checking CHEP documentation in order to ensure accurate records

To be successful in this position you must have the following:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role and FMCG environment 
• Experience in Inventory management
• Solid people management skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with exceptional attention to detail
• The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• SAP experience (advantage but not essential)
• Use of Chepmate pallet control software (advantage but not essential)
