Graymore Couriers operate a fleet of B-Double vehicles from their base in Tingalpa, Brisbane just 10 minutes from major heavy vehicle road networks and 20 minutes from the Port of Brisbane precinct. They are a family owned and operated business since 1999 with over 70 years of combined operations experience servicing a diverse range of customers.
About our role
As a B-Double Driver working for Graymore Couriers, the role will see you working away from our base at Tingalpa for up to 6 days/ nights at a time, undertaking various trips within Queensland with occasional trips interstate. The role will see the successful driver be willing to work varying day and night shift driving duties. You will initially commence as a casual driver on a 6 month probation period, after this you may be eligible to secure permanent employment. At least two current and contactable work references must be provided at interview stage.
Your experience that we need
Our ideal B-Double Driver will have:
- A sharp focus on safety and compliance with all tasks you do
- At least 3-5 years of B-Double General Freight experience
- Ability to load and unload your own vehicle anytime, anywhere
- LF Forklift High Risk Work License (ideal but not essential)
- Basic Fatigue Management (TLIF2010A) Certificate (ideal but not essential)
- Current Commercial Driver Medical
- Able to work with little supervison
- Confidently complete all necessary paperwork with detail and accuracy including, POD's, Work Diary pages, inductions, site instructions, reporting maintenance requirements.
- Live ideally within a 50kms radius of Tingalpa so we can effectively manage your fatigue before and after trips away
- Provide a current Traffic History Printout at interview stage
