THE ROLE
Due to recently being appointed as the sole supplier for Fleet Management Services to all West Australian state government departments and agencies, we have a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Relationship and Engagement Manager from the fleet, finance or automotive industry to join our team based at Wangara in Perth’s northern suburbs.
Reporting to the General Manager Operations, this highly strategic position will see you overseeing the provision of Fleet Management Services to in excess of 11,000 vehicles across the state and leading a team of 7 skilled fleet specialists, ensuring exceptional service delivery of all contract requirements.
Every day is different but your day-to-day duties will include:
- Managing all service and contract commitments, ensuring obligations are met and adhere to the contract owner requirements
- Ensuring client interactions are of the highest standard and expectations are not only met but exceeded
- Overseeing and facilitating the take on of new products and services, such as leasing and telematics, to our clients within the portfolio
- Conducting regular client visitations and presentations and reporting on outcomes
- Acting as trusted advisor on all fleet requirements including recommendations on best practice and industry trends
- Leading the team ensuring tasks and workloads are effectively distributed and successfully completed in line with Key Performance Indicators
WHAT YOU NEED
To be considered you will demonstrate:
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience managing a government or similar contract at a strategic management level
- Commercial acumen with a solid understanding of fleet management, leasing and or finance industries including current developments
- Excellent relationship management and influencing skills, with an ability to both develop and maintain long team relationships at all levels
- Ability to generate new business opportunities within existing contracts
- A passion and commitment to providing outstanding service and to go the extra mile for our customers
- Demonstrated understanding of key leadership principles and experience in team development
- Tertiary qualification in a business, commerce or marketing related discipline
- Current Driver’s Licence
