We are currently seeking licensed HC drivers to join our team. You will be required to complete local transport deliveries, training in load restraint provided to the right person.
We are a safety driven business with an extensive training program to support the selected candidate in the role.
Duties include:
- Deliver steel products for key customer account
- Load, unload and securing of steel (training provided)
- Apply load restraint guidelines (training provided)
- Complete paperwork and associated
- Build and maintain customer relationships at key pick up and drop points
- Complete delivery dockets, receipts and record information
- Pre-start vehicle checks
To be successful for this position you will require:
- Current & valid drivers license (HC or higher)
- Experience with steel advantageous but not essential
- Sound knowledge of metro & intrastate roads
- Available for overtime as per contractual requirements
- Complete a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test (company paid)
- Be able to provide a current Driver History and infringements report (within 3 months old)
