The Maker Designer Kitchens, part of the ABN Group, located in Bassendean, is Western Australia's largest designer kitchen and stone manufacturer, employing over 140 staff over 3 dedicated premises and focused on providing excellence in quality and service.
We are looking for an experienced Storeperson – Team Leader to oversee our Stores, including the daily supply, coordination and delivery of hardware to meet manufacturing targets.
The Role
As a Storeperson – Team Leader, you will have considerable experience in the day to day smooth running of a busy stores environment, be able to demonstrate continuous improvement implementing change and represent the department with a customer-first attitude.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 3 years stores experience
- Proven ability to organise a busy multi-facetted stores
- Continual improvement and best practice initiatives
- Proven ability to provide high quality customer service
- Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
- Organisation skills and the ability to work efficiently
- Clear and concise communication in English
- Competency with technology and in using MS Office
- Ability to oversee, develop and support colleagues
Duties Include
- Adhering to OHS guidelines and maintaining a safe working environment
- Goods receipting
- Stock management and bin location maintenance
- Monitoring consumables
- Unloading vehicles and containers
- Stocktaking
- Managing stores returns to supplier
You
The successful candidate must;
- Have experience and strong understanding of stock control and store order picking
- Have exceptional written and spoken English and high level numeracy skills
- Have a personal commitment to OHS & E
