We are an Australian owned state of the art manufacturing facility in Somersby, on the Central Coast experiencing steady growth year on year. Due to a recent large capital investment an exciting opportunity now exists for a capable and experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our high volume manufacturing facility
About the Role
Your previous manufacturing experience will be put to good use as you will deliver process improvements by review, development and implementation of manufacturing/ production processes and systems to increase output from idea through to commission phase.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing a reporting and monitoring framework within the company that will drive business improvement and specifically assist front line managers in delivering on key business metrics.
- Creating end-to-end process maps with input from key stakeholders
- Working collaboratively with Production Team to develop and roll-out factory dashboards
- Developing sustainable shop floor data & reporting system with excellent drill-down capabilities
- Assisting with process improvement activities across operations
To be successful in the role, you will have the following experience:
- Degree Qualified Engineer or equivalent hands on industry experience
- Ability to work at all levels of an organisation in a collaborative manner
- Ability to take complex data from multiple sources and identify trends and insights
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results
- Excellent data analysis skills and sound knowledge of statistical process control
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S
- Excellent Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving skills
- Quality Control Experience
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes
- Superior Problem Solving Skills
