About the opportunity

In this 12 month contract opportunity you will be accountable for the successful delivery of Procure to Pay (P2P) activity to the BP group within Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

$130-135 Base salary

Key accountabilities:

  • Drive P2P operational excellence across ANZ and delivery of best practise process design and operationalise service delivery
  • Provide leadership to the GBS ANZ P2P team through the provision of clear performance targets, performance coaching and support and staff development programs
  • Accountable for the ANZ P2P service, managing the outsourcing P2P services on behalf of GBS ANZ and the business
  • Relationship manager for P2P services within ANZ (finance, procurement and business)
  • Manage and to ensure strategy alignment between the business and BPO (offshore 3rd party)
  • Program, project and continuous improvement activities to Identify and develop improved services, straight through processing and process simplification to the businesses.

About you

To be successful in the Procurement Operations Manager role, you will have extensive experience within a procure to pay environment in a large organisation and functional expertise across Accounts Payable, Procurement Operations and P2P compliance.

  • Working knowledge of P2P processes and audit and control regimes
  • Experience in leading teams and coaching individuals and developing successful teams
  • Proven experience in managing multiple and complex relationships including offshore service provision with third party providers
  • High level of analytical, communication and networking skills
  • Strong Project Management & Operations Management
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes, deal with ambiguity, navigate complexity and drive impactful outcome
