RYCO Hydraulics is an Australian owned company, manufacturing quality hydraulic hose, couplings and adaptors. The Company, founded in 1946, is now a global operation with plants and warehouses in Australia and New Zealand, USA, China, Malaysia, Singapore and Europe.
Objectives of the position:
The objective of the Branch Operations Manager is to achieve or exceed the sales and financial targets established for the branch and to ensure that the company's policies and standards are being met and have a strong focus on the needs and best interest of the customer and RYCO to create profitable and long term business partnerships.
With a strong focus on quality you will drive a system that will not only meet the Customers needs but exceed them.
The duties of the position are:
- Manage the branch as directed and supported by the Operations Manager - WA
- Analyse and establish annual and medium term plans for the sales functions of the region including major mines and OEM's, and contracts of supply directly through RYCO Hydraulics, RYCO 24.7 and distributors
- Prepare, recommend and implement sales targets and budgets
- Conduct the duties required as the RYCO 24.7 service centre- supporting the franchised operators, the MCS's and customers
- Manage the operation of branch administration
- Maintain and operate the Sales Management Process for the branch
- Responsible for control, direction, training and motivation of the employees and compliance of all company policies within the region
- Coordinate the sales activities and customer service operations including product delivery, order process and stock movements
- Maintain the appropriate level of contact with all customers and distributors
- Ensure all claims, allowances, complaints and adjustments are satisfactorily resolved in line with company policy for franchise operations
- In conjunction with senior management investigate, recommend, direct and propose for approval advertising and sales promotion activities
- Demonstrate visible leadership and proactive commitment to HSEC excellence through personal example, by promoting initiatives and encouraging strong teamwork at all levels, and by conducting frequent site inspections, reviews and behavioural observations
The skills / experience we require are:
- Exceptional knowledge and experience in hydraulics - hose and fittings
- Experience in a similar role, ideally with a technical sales orientation
- Workshop management experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Exceptional organisational skills
