Supply Chain Officer – RETAIL
As a service provider our people are pivotal to our success
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Logistics Coordinator to join our logistics retail team at Adelaide Airport.
In partnership with our retail customers this role is pivotal to ensuring smooth, efficient and effective supply chain services
Your role as the supply chain co-ordinator will be to drive service excellence, vendor compliance and effective supply solutions
About the role:
You will be responsible for actioning supply chain activities within the retail shipping department
You will work closely with international and domestic vendors
You will ensure all relevant paperwork is completed,
You will respond to all internal enquiries providing rapid issue resolution whilst ensuring all expectations are met,
You will liaise with all transport vendors and provide solutions to problems if and when they arise
Run various reports in relation to order management, invoicing, billing, maintenance, damage and action accordingly,
Take responsibility for confirmation of all services
Drive ship dates and delivery dates – strong order management compliance
Be go to for all shipping needs
About You:
Resilient when it comes to handling difficult situations or dealing with change,
You take pride in providing outstanding customer service, where the customer’s expectations are met whilst maintaining operational efficiency,
Have a strong understanding of freight forwarding and domestic transport
Ability to plan and schedule your daily work load
Can work autonomously and unsupervised, but is also a team player
Ability to think outside the square, whilst working in a fast paced and high pressure environment
Confident in using the Microsoft office suite and you have the ability to learn multiple in house systems
Enjoys building successful relationships with people both internally and externally, at all levels
The following skills and qualifications will be a distinct advantage:
Experience in using Pronto or similar ERP applications
You have experience with Cargo Wise
Previous experience with a freight forwarder would be an advantage
