Our company is a well-established and successful industrial company with a reputation for providing outstanding customer service and maintaining longstanding business relationships with our global suppliers and clients. We are now seeking a dynamic, dedicated individual to join our friendly team in Perth who are responsible for responding to and processing customer requests.

Some of your key accountabilities will include:

• Taking, quoting and processing of customer orders – via phone and counter sales.
• Providing full end to end customer service by informing customers of stock availability, pricing, delivery dates etc.
• Preparation of supporting documentation, invoices, credit notes.
• Supporting the sales team with key accounts.
• Assist with the receipt, unpacking and inspection of stock
• Timely pick / pack and operation of the forklift to ensure customer orders are despatched on schedule
• Regular cycle counts and inventory checks as well as creating consignment notes
• Some general cleaning and support duties

To secure this position, you will be an experienced Storeperson and will possess a valid High Risk Forklift License, having worked within a warehouse environment previously – preferably in a smaller facility with high value inventory.  It is essential that you have a strong attention to detail and are a self-confident team player with excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise your workload and a working knowledge of the full MS Office suite, e.g. Word, Excel for the Internal Sales side of the role.

Any exposure to working with plastic sheet / hardware supplies will be highly regarded.

On the job training will be provided.
