Our client is a global designer and manufacturer of technical products – with manufacturing sites in Australia supporting their extensive import program.
An opportunity now exists for a talented astute Senior Purchasing Officer to be part of the Operations /Supply Chain team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Purchasing of the majority of raw materials, finished goods and support products for the business
- Planning of purchasing needs in line with sales and operations forecasts
- Establishing and managing ongoing supplier contracts
- Negotiating best value business outcomes
Personal Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of three years purchasing experience – predominantly overseas purchasing in a fully integrated business environment
- Must be able to show value creation in current and past positions
- Qualifications in purchasing well regarded
