We are seeking a confident and experienced Machine Operator for our valued client in the Newcastle area. You will have experience working in food manufacturing, have good computer and math skills, mechanical aptitude and be physically fit. This position has potential to become permanent with our client for the right person

Responsibilities:

• Be involved in Milk Intake & Lab Testing, running Separation, Pasteurisation and Evaporation Processes, Mixing and Batching products with a high level of accuracy
• After fully trained be able to work in a team and/or independently and work shift work and on Sundays
• Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety regulations at all times

Essential Criteria:

• Must have previous experience in Food Manufacturing preferably Dairy
• Competent Computer and math skills
• Mechanical aptitude preferred, will be assisting with minor maintenance/breakdowns
• Physically fit
• A basic understanding of chemicals and a strong focus on safety in the workplace
• Ability to multi task whilst also maintaining attention to detail on all running processes to ensure a high level of accuracy
• Must be available for shift work and Sunday work
• Able to commit to ongoing work
