To continue to deliver financially viable solutions to the market they need a motivated and experienced Operations Manager for their NSW site.
Reporting to the National Operations Manager you will be responsible for a fast paced and busy site. Your duties will include:
- Be the ‘go to’ person for all operational matters within the state
- Ensure the effective implementation of operational strategies
- Prepare comprehensive operational plans, including regular analysis of the state’s, procurement, transport, wastage and labour.
- Efficiently and effectively organize the operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and address operational problems in a timely fashion.
- Direct the operational activities of the state for the achievement of short and long term business objectives and increased profit
- Monitor and evaluate state performance, the efficiency of teams, procedures and costs according to overall strategies and objectives
- Monitor state’s compliance with costs targets (particularly purchases and labour) and production rate benchmarks
- Manage operational team member selection, training and development
- Maintain a good working relationship with the unions and its representatives
You will be an accomplished Operations Manager with a background in manufacturing (ideally food or beverages). Leading and motivating a highly successful team will be second nature to you and fostering good relationships with customers is something you excel in.
