About the business and the role
Reclaim & Timber Co is a manufacturer of timber pallets, cases and crates with factories in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. We are looking for a dedicated person to join a team of managers to further grow the business and improve productivity.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Scheduling of Factory Orders.
Manage job workflow to ensure on time delivery of orders.
Management of production employees and work allocation.
Preparation and completion of paper work- Invoices, Delivery Dockets and Timesheets etc.
Gain full knowledge of all machinery, products produced and processes undertaken during production.
Assistance with loading and unloading of trucks containing finished product and raw materials.
Ensure compliance to Work Health Safety requirements.
Liaise with customers and suppliers.
Open and close factory.
Willing to supervise overtime when requested.
Ability to achieve and maintain high levels of delivery performance
Skills and experience
Forklift Licence.
First Aid Certificate (Desired but not essential).
MR Licence (Desired but not essential).
Knowledge of WHS requirements.
Mechanical aptitude to operate machinery and perform tasks such as set-up and changing parts.
Basic IT skills and a willingness to learn business software.
Excellent communication skills, sound computer skills and confident telephone manner.
Comfortable with handling customers and suppliers in a high pressure environment.
Stocktake and forward planning to order materials required for production.
You will be self- motivated and pro-active, dynamic and 'hands-on'.
You will have experience and skills to manage a complex workforce environment.
