Sumitomo Rubber Australia supplies the Sumitomo and Falken brand tyres to the Australian replacement market. This newly established business in Australia is a subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber Industries based in Japan with more than a century of trading history and a presence in most countries around the world.
With expansion plans in place, the business is currently looking for an experienced Store Person / Delivery Driver to be part of this growing and hard working team. The role being offered is a permanent Full Time position with long term career prospects.
About The Role
This role is responsible for working within the warehouse team to assist in the efficient running of the warehouse and delivery operations. Experience in a warehouse environment is required. Extensive experience as a delivery driver in the metro areas is also highly regarded.
Other activities required on a daily basis includes:

Picking & packing of orders ready for delivery

Process receiving of new deliveries
-
Use picking slips to prepare products for dispatch

Make deliveries as required using light van
-
General warehouse duties
About You
The successful applicant must have the following attributes:

Physically fit for the role
-
Prior experience within a warehouse environment

Pick and pack experience with similar product category
-
Good knowledge of metro areas for deliveries
-
Car licence essential with good driving history

Reach Forklift and / or truck licence preferred
