About the Role

Centurion in Brisbane is currently looking for an experienced HC Driver to join the team full-time working with one of our major clients. You will be responsible for loading and unloading freight in safe manner and Pickup and Delivery in the Brisbane area.

Duties

• Loading and unloading of general freight
• Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements
• Carrying  out vehicle pre-start checks
• Ensure freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times
• Transporting freight in a safe and efficient manner to and from customer specified sites
• Ensuring all freight loaded matches the paperwork
• Safe driving record and commitment to creating a safe work environment

   

Skills and Experience

• Current HC Drivers licence
• Accredited forklift ticket
• Demonstrated experience in load restraints as per Australian standards
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Good time management skills
• Ability to take direction from supervisors
