My client is a leading manufacturing organisation based on the north side. They are seeking a high performing team leader to join their team in Zillmere.

Our client is a leading International Manufacturer. Due to recent expansion they are currently seeking experienced Manufacturing Team Leader for their Zillmere workshop.
Description
The role of the Manufacturing Team Leader will be to lead a team of 6 Production Operators in order to produce quality products in an efficient, timely and safe manner. This role will report into the Manufacturing Coordinator. Responsibilities include:
- Achieve KPI's through efficiency, minimising waste, planning and inspection and providing direction to the manufacturing team.
- Ensuring a steady flow of products and materials in accordance with daily schedules.
- Maintaining a safe practices and environment for all manufacturing personnel.
- Reporting production variances and other manufacturing issues to management.
- Applying quality, safety and environmental principles in day to day activities.
Profile
Applicants must possess the following:
- Proven experience in 5S and Lean Manufacturing
- Experience leading a team
- Strong interpersonal, training and communication skills
- Ability to work on simultaneous tasks and priorities accordingly
- Current Forklift Ticket
- Reliable transport
