Major, Long-Term Projects
This critical role assumes responsibility for major subcontracts to meet major project requirements; Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
A key priorities for this important role are; to maintain highly effective contract management and; to build productive working relationships with suppliers, their supply chains and internal stakeholders. 
Key Challenges; 

• Tightly administer and monitor variations to subcontracts, including the drafting of commercial correspondence
• Identify emerging risks to ensure they are costed, monitored and managed appropriately; including external supply chain challenges
• Collaborate closely with the project team to ensure achievement of scheduled deliverables, against cost and quality requirements
• Work closely with suppliers to achieve the requirements of the contract from a schedule, cost and quality perspective
• Continually develop and embed relevant project KPI's

Your experience will include:

• Considerable procurement or commercial administration experience
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills to foster strong relationships with suppliers, and potentially the suppliers' key subcontractors
• Excellent commercial acumen with a proven strength in contract negotiation and administration
• Eligibility to obtain Defence security clearance
