The Canberra Southern Cross Club is currently seeking suitably qualified and motivated applicants to join our Woden team in the part-time (25 hrs/week) position of Stores Person.
Main responsibilities
- Incoming Stock - ensure all stock is of the correct quantity and ensure quality standards are met.
- Returning Stock - return goods that do not comply with our standards and fill out appropriate paper work.
- Rotation of Stock - ensure all stock has been rotated when new stock arrives and ensure all stock is stored correctly.
- Ensure the stores’ safe and hygienic standards by following requirements of the Club and ACT Regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Physically fit and able to do manual lifting
- Mathematical and computer skills
- Experience in ‘Task Retail’ or other stock control system would be an advantage
- Able to work Mon-Fri from 6:30AM -11:30AM and cover leave absences
