Pallion is the largest precious metal services group in Australasia. We have an opportunity for a highly motivated operator to join our team in Marrickville, Sydney.
ABC Refinery and Bullion is Australia's leading precious metals and bullion specialist. This multi-national group operates facilities throughout Australia, Hong Kong and mainland China.
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable person to join our team in our state-of-the-art facilities in Sydney.
The purpose of the role is to perform a variety of duties within our Refinery and to be trained in the daily operations where required, while ensuring best practice standards in the delivery of our final product.
The employee undertaking this role will be trained in the following responsibilities:
- Melting and smelting operations in a furnace.
- Maintain acceptable levels of output with all processes of furnace operation.
- Final metal barring and granulation work daily
- Polishing metal bars to meet Pallion standards and quality control measures
- Operations of stamping and serializing of investment bars
- Operate all machinery required to complete all elements of the role
- Assisting in development & refinement of quality control processes
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team work
- Physical fitness, as this role involves manual handling, lifting and will have you standing most of the day.
- Working hours will be based on a roster from Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 5:30pm.
- Successful candidates will need to undergo a police check.
