About the business
Access Sydney Community Transport Ltd, (ASCT) is a Sydney-based not-for-profit organisation located in Ultimo.
It specialises in the provision of transport services for the frail aged, younger people with disabilities and their carers who require accessible and affordable transport options.
The organisation is entering an exciting new phase.
While maintaining its central values of a commitment to inclusiveness, equity and social justice ASCT has recently restructured and expanded the management team to foster our expertise and grow the business.
About the role
As Service Delivery Manager you will be leading a large team of drivers and customer assistants who ensure that our customers receive a safe, comfortable, reliable service. The manager is also responsible for ensuring that our fleet of vehicles is roadworthy and fit for purpose at all times.

Experience
We require proven experience in transport management that will bring ASCT fleet efficiency and effectiveness to a new level.
Experience in managing a large team primarily based in the field
The key skills are:
- NSW Bus Operators' Accreditation or willingness to obtain within three months
- Demonstrated team leadership and proven ability to manage complex services in a busy, high-demand environment
- Understanding of social justice, access and equity and demonstrated commitment to workplace diversity
- Well-developed management skills, including

- workplace health and safety
- risk management
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to analyse data and provide reports against metrics and to use information to monitor and manage performance
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office, databases and spread sheets and any relevant custom software
