Excel Recruitment are currently recruiting for qualified Boilermakers, Welders, Body Builders and Assemblers. Our client is a market leader in the heavy vehicle body building industry - strategically placed in the south western suburbs.

We have several positions available across their Servicing & Repairs and Manufacturing sites, initially commencing as a fulltime casual with a view to permanency once a qualifying period is met. We require experienced Boilermakers, Welders, Body Builders and Assemblers to join established servicing and/or manufacturing teams. It is essential that you have experience with repairs and structural development of trucks and trailers or other heavy vehicles.

Day and afternoon shift available with excellent rates - $38 day shift - $46 afternoon shift. Culture of the teams is fantastic as well as workplace conditions.

Skills and Experience:

• Trade Qualified welders - Mig
• Experience working on heavy vehicles
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to fault find and think on your feet
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Reading & interpretation of drawings
• Inspection of assemblies and installations against specifications
• Responsible for the quality of your own work
• Cut, fabricate and weld to job order specifications
