Transport Supervisor role for a leading FMCG manufacturer paying $40ph, opportunity to go into perm role
Your new company
Your new company is one of Australia’s largest FMCG manufacturers located in Western Sydney. Your new company pride themselves on a great working environment with multiple state of the art production facilities across Sydney. Due to an increase in production rates there is the requirement for a temporary Transport/3PL Supervisor to start in a role immediately with the role going permanent for the right candidate.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the delivery of daily planned customer support and administration activities within the Supply Chain Team. You will be working with both internal stakeholders and external customers. This role will drive the objective of being recognised by our customers as delivering excellence in service and creating value. Specifically the role will be responsible for state based end to end order fulfilment support, and distribution administration, including, but not limited to; end of delivery shipment closure, POD reconciliation and archiving.
What you'll need to succeed
- Transport Manager/Supervisor, 3PL Coordinator/Supervisor or Warehouse Coordinator/Supervisor experience
- Cert IV in Logistics or related discipline
- Transport planning experience within medium to large business
- WMS experience
- SAP Experience (Strong)
- Strong customer service experience
- 3PL experience
- Ability to start immediately
What you'll get in return
This role is paying a highly competitive hourly rate and will last approximately three months, with the role being recruited permanently you will have the opportunity to be considered for the permanent role. Our client is seeking an immediate start, working Monday to Friday on a 38hr week.
