Roles & Responsibilities

Transport account Management

  • Monitor Inbound and outbound carrier SLA’s
  • Development of an enquiries report to log and audit customer issues / complaints related to warehousing and freight, high service levels to all customers by addressing freight queries, escalating complaints and work with transport carriers to improve service levels
  • Analyse and recommend improvements/rout optimisation
  • Provide support to internal and external customers includes logistics arrangement, shipment tracking, proof of delivery, damages and other traffic related needs
  • Ensure carrier data is captured and reported accurately
  • Handle invoices payment process, statement of account reconciliation from the carriers, follow up late payment
  • Reconcile freight invoices, identify savings and correct and claim discrepancies

3rd Party Logistics management

  • Assist with quotations and recommend best logistic options
  • Support rate negotiations
  • Participate in rate negotiations, RFQ or individual quote analysis to continuously seek transport and logistics savings opportunities

Reporting & Analysis

  • Develop regular reports of actual vs. budget and analyse deviations when they occur
  • Manage monthly saving tracker for freight and warehouse initiatives
  • Provide customers’ monthly or quarterly report that relate to Carrier Delivery performance
  • Participate or lead projects that related to logistic operations improvements

Candidate Criteria

  • You will have at least 5 years' experience Logistic analysis and procurement
  • Proactive communication and data driven decision making skills
  • A customer centric mindset
  • Advance Excel skills, VBA is highly regarded
  • Exposure to a fast paced complex supply chains
  • Proven experience in continuous improvements
  • Excellent stakeholder management, organisation  and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively cross functionally
  • Experience with JBA or equivalent system  would be highly regarded
  • A lean continuous improvement mindset and the ability to make strong decisions and engage current team members
  • Tertiary educated to a Bachelor level or above is highly regarded
