Replenishment Co-ordinator

The Client is a manufacturer of health oriented FMCGs, specialising in snack foods and breakfast cereal/muesli products. The business delivers this range of products to the Australian market via supply to proprietary and private label brands. The business offers flexible manufacturing services to external clients catering for low and high-volume product lines. JFA prides itself on being responsive to market opportunities and works strategically with trade partners to achieve quality driven success.

  • The Replenishment Co-ordinator is responsible for the day to day replenishment of a supply chain.
  • The position works very closely with our Senior Procurement specialist, who secures appropriate volumes of raw materials, packaging and consumables so as to sustain the operations of the business.
  • The Procurement Officer makes the appropriate supplier contact to ensure that supplies are reordered and delivered in full on time so as to mitigate or avoid the risks associated with quality, cost and material outages.

Monday - Friday (Permanent position) Flexible working hours

Key Selection Criteria (Experience, Competencies and Education)

Mandatory

  • Demonstrated working experience within an industrial or manufacturing production supply chain or inventory role
  • Must have strong customer service and effective communication skills. This will allow for an openness to discuss issues that affect supply of raw materials affecting the manufacturing process flow.
  • Strongly developed negotiation skills so that suppliers can meet company objectives
  • Proven ability to multitask, set and manage priorities based on organisational needs and the ability to time manage with a consistent sense of urgency.
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work with minimal instructions.
  • Must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Must be accurate and have attention to detail.
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to work with peers in a positive manner on a daily basis.
  • Understanding and proven commitment to the role.
  • Active engagement with current day issues in the production and warehouse environment.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • An advanced degree of computer literacy is an essential prerequisite.
