It is part of the global network of Fusion companies, delivering world-class solutions in the manufacture and supply of jointing equipment, fittings and fabrications for polyethylene pipe systems used in the transportation of water, sewerage, gas and chemicals.
About the role
We have recently moved to a new warehouse, are implementing a brand new Online Warehouse Management system and are growing rapidly.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Unload Containers, trucks and checking inward goods
- Picking, packing and checking of orders
- Loading trucks, containers with forklift
- Servicing pick up customers
- Communication & co-operation with management, supervisors & employees
- Site housekeeping, upkeep and maintenance duties as required
- Active participation in maintaining and supporting WH&S
- Ability to work as a team as well as unsupervised
- May be required to work night shift
Skills and experience
You will have:
- Current Forklift licence and experience is essential – Both High Reach and Counter Balance
- Current Drivers Licence
- Australian Citizenship or Valid Working Visa
- Ability to adhere to safe working practices
- Successful applicant must be able to pass a medical
- Warehousing experience essential
- Highly motivated with great work ethic
- Excellent Communication skills
- Receiving and dispatch experience highly advantageous
- Ability to use basic Microsoft Office Products and Internet Freight Booking Portals
- Previous exposure to Online Warehouse Management Systems an advantage
- Responsible and reliable
- Physically fit and healthy as this is a very active role. Manual labour required.
